Appreciation Letters
February 24, 2000
Dear Jim,
Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to speak to
the East Bremerton Rotary Club this past week regarding "The
Four Pillars of Health."
I must admit when you first called I was skeptical about the potential
for a "sales pitch", but you gave a tremendously informative
talk with ideas on how to improve personal health through nutrition
and exercise. And you never mentioned your company!
An obvious indicator of how well the club received your talk was
the exceptionally high volume of questions you were barraged with
upon completing your presentation.
Thanks again for visiting the East Bremerton Rotary Club. I enjoyed
the opportunity to spend the morning with you.
Gratefully,
Victor C. Ulsh

To Whom It May Concern:
We recently had Jim Johnston present his program entitled "The
Four Pillars of Health" to our Rotary Club and I can say that
all of our members were very pleased with this program concerning
your health and properly taking care of your body.
Many members, me included, were concerned this was another thirty
minute infomercial for some product or products which he was going
to push at the end of the meeting.
I can say that no products were pushed and that Jim's presentation
and the message he delivers should be heard by everyone wanting
or needing to maintain their health.
Based on the presentation made to our club I can assure you that
Jim's program and message will be accepted and enjoyed be a majority
of your listeners.
Sincerely,
Joe L. Murin, President
Rotary Club of Reno, Nevada

Dear Jim,
I just wanted to write and thank you for your very informative and
entertaining presentation on "The Four Pillars of Health"
before the Phoenix Rotary Club #100 this past Friday.
The comments I heard were overwhelmingly positive. As you know,
our club is the largest and oldest service club in Arizona. We are
quite fortunate in the caliber of programs which we are able to
attract and as a result our membership is not easily impressed.
I believe that you succeeded.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Kenneth Hubbard

To Whom I t May Concern:
This letter is written for the purpose of introducing Jim Johnston
who has an excellent program concerning health and properly taking
care of your body. His program is enjoyable for both young and old.
I have held the position of program chairman for the Kerman Rotary
Club for a total of three years, during my membership from 1957
through the present. I rank Jim's presentation as excellent. I can
truly assure you that Jim's message will be highly accepted by the
majority of the listeners.

Dear Jim,
Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to speak with
the Rotary Club of San Bernardino. Your presentation was as I had
expected....fantastic!! I really appreciated you putting such a
first-quality show together in such a limited time frame. I know
there were quite a few comments about your talk. A good indication
of a great talk is when the time is up and no one wanted you to
leave!! I have heard quite a few speakers and you were excellent!
Great job!
Thanks for all you are doing to make the Inland Empire a better
place to live.
Very Sincerely,
Tal Wilson

Dear Jim,
Thank you for speaking to our club last Wednesday. I know I speak
for many of the members who were as interested as I was in hearing
about how to change our eating habits and lifestyles in order to
extend out lives.
The delivery of your topic as well as your use of props was a welcome
change from the normal 'sit and listen' style of speech.
Thanks again for sharing your program with us. Sorry for the confusion
but thanks for coming through for us. We all wish you the best for
the future! Also please thank Devin for us. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Ronald C. Erbetta, Chairman
Program Committee

Dear Jim,
Thank you for the very interesting and informative talk last week
at our club meeting. I know most everyone got a lot out of it. Not
only did you give us some food for thought (pardon the pun) in taking
care of our bodies but some simple action steps as well. You may
have inspired some of us to actually keep our New Year's Resolutions.
Good luck and best of health to you in the new year.
Sincerely,
Keith Hanson

Dear Mr. Johnston:
Thank you, on behalf of the Alameda Rotary Club for your talk. Your
presentation was very informative. In addition, thank you for allowing
time for questions. Your willingness to phone people to answer specific
questions was amazing.
In talking with Rotarians, I heard many favorable comments. It was
a pleasure to have you as our guest. On a personal note, I'll always
have you to thank for banishing Chicken Corn Chowder from our home.
Sincerely,

Dear Jim:
Thank you for driving through some of the most severe El Nino weather
we have experienced this year to meet your commitment to speak at
the Saratoga Rotary on February 6, 1998. When you arrived from Sacramento
in spite of the storm, I knew we had invited a special person. Your
inspirational message, "The Four Pillars of Health", fully
reinforced my feelings. Not only was your message timely, but the
relaxed manner in which it was delivered ( and the fact that you
had mastered so many of the names of Rotary members) made it doubly
enjoyable. It is obvious how much you care about getting your message
across. I was also pleased to see how many Rotarians stayed after
the meeting to continue conversation with you.
It is through commitment of folks like you that Rotary meetings
continue to enrich the lives of its members. It was a pleasure to
meet you.
Best regards,
Marchelle S. Fox

Dear Jim:
Many thanks for your presentation of "The Four Pillars of Health".
The subject matter obviously captured the attention of all attending
yesterday's meeting.
Your ability to establish a personal rapport with your audience
and then keep them riveted on the theme of your presentation was
outstanding. You deliver a timely message in a clear common sensical
way that is uncommonly effective.
Your program was right at the top of the quality programs that our
club has been fortunate enough to have this year or, for that matter,
any year. It's a message we all need to keep focused upon.
Thank you again for sharing such vital information with us. I particularly
appreciate the fact that you have such a high regard for Rotary
and all it does.
Sincerely yours,
Kel Kellner

Dear Jim,
As program chairman for the June 22nd meeting of the Rotary Club
of Incline Village, I want to thank you for an excellent presentation
on "The Four Pillars of Health". You kept the attention
of all of us with information on how to live a life of quality.
Some of the members were concerned that you might try to sell some
product as part of your presentation. Thankfully, you had nothing
to sell. Instead, you gave us quality advice from the wealth of
your own knowledge on the subject.
Many other members offered their favorable comments.
Thanks again for an excellent program.
Very Sincerely,
Lloyd R. Swenson

Dear Jim,
Thank you for presenting your program "The Four Pillars of Health"
to our Rotary Club. You had to be impressed by our close attention
to your message. Obviously the subject of personal health is of keen
interest to our members. Your ability to learn and recall members
names from the audience as part of the presentation was impressive...and
effective in keeping us focused on your information.
The "Facts and Tips" associated with "The Four Pillars
of Health" will serve our club members well. Many of your health
topics have been repeated in discussions at our weekly meetings.
We sincerely appreciate your sharing your keen knowledge of good health
practices' with the Reno Central Rotary. I personally am anxious to
discuss my health outlook and practices with you in a follow up phone
call.
Best regards,
Max Jones
