Q. What are the different ways by which I can place an order?

mail to: P.O Box 961, Carmel CA 93921.
- Toll-Free Telephone
You can place your order via telephone by calling us at 800-337-7761.
We accept VISA/Mastercard/Discovery/American Express, Checks,
and Money Orders. All sales are final.
Q. What kind of security do you use for processing my credit
card order?
A. When you enter your credit card number along with your
other personal information into the order form, it is transmitted
across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded
when it gets to us. We use the powerful industry standard SSL
(Secure Socket Layer) technology to encrypt all of your on-line
order information.
For added security, we also encrypt your credit card number when
it is stored on our server's disk, and when we retrieve our orders.
Q. Why is SSL encryption used for e-commerce merchant services
on the Internet?
A. Secure credit card transactions are necessary over the
open channels of the Internet. Internet connections pass through
many gates and servers. Unless measures are taken to close these
open channels, the opportunity is there for the information to
be intercepted when conducting sales using e-commerce. SSL provides
a secure connection between your web browser and our web site
server.
Q. How can I tell when I'm transmitting over a secure SSL connection?
A. Netscape and Microsoft compatible browsers will display a key
or lock icon on the browser's status bar to indicate that encryption
has been activated, while other browsers will display their own
indicators.
Q. Should I worry about someone intercepting my credit card number
when ordering on-line?
If you are not the kind of person who worries about being hit
by lightning as you're crossing the street, you probably don't
have to worry that your credit card number will be intercepted
on the way to our secure web site. According to CNN, "The
prevalent opinion...is that on-line credit card use is actually
no riskier for consumers than traditional "low-tech"
transactions."
Many people order products online all the time. When we use a
credit card to buy something online, we feel at least as safe
as we would using one in a store or restaurant.
